Chelsea Flower Show sponsors M&G are working with top landscape designer and writer Bunny Guinness to create its show garden this year. It is Bunny’s ninth show garden at Chelsea – she has won gold six times. Drawing on a mix of time-honoured and contemporary elements, the garden will be a modern version of a traditional kitchen garden. As well as being attractive to look at and sit in, the garden will be a practical space, providing herbs, fruit, vegetables and cut flowers for the house. Cabbages and beans sit alongside clematis and roses, with terracotta pots containing lemon, apple and quince trees lining the paths. The Daily Telegraph has three pairs of tickets to visit the show and see The M&G Garden, to be won.
The prize also includes dinner in Kensington, at the Royal Garden Hotel’s top restaurant, Park Terrace.Headed up by executive chef Steve Munkley, Park Terrace Restaurant uses only the finest ingredients from sustainable sources to create delicious British menus that change every three months, making them both succulent and seasonal.
