Carver/Scott Master Gardeners are celebrating the autumnal equinox by inviting families to their Fall Garden Festival and Wine Tasting from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22.
Families will enjoy an evening of presentations and demos including the opportunity to meet Scott Davis from Toast Wine Bar and Café in Minneapolis. Taste the flavors of the harvest and learn what wines to serve with a variety of cheeses and appetizers as well as those fall dishes including the holiday turkey.
The free event includes presentations on fall and holiday container gardening, planting fall bulbs for spring blooms, seed saving, garden photography and fall lawn care.
