A miniature version of the Australian native plant garden from Cranbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens will be recreated in Chelsea in May next year. It will be one of six major displays at the show. Chief executive of the Cranbourne gardens, Dr Philip Moors, says everything will be done to ensure the Australian garden stands out.

"We'll be taking several thousand Australian plants that have never been exhibited at Chelsea before," he said. "The wonderful diversity of colour and scent and shape of Australia's remarkable plant life will be an exuberant garden which will excite gardeners in Britain and Europe."
